it narrows it down a bit. This project is really about the Hat, but just curious as to where he went.

I have tried finding the death of his third wife,  Annie Elizabeth Taylor, but again nothing.I wonder if she got rid of the Gilliland name, but that's nothing to do with the  Hat.

No she did not lose the surname, easy when you have exact dob.. She appears in Derby in 1939 and dies
