I've found this list of passengers. There is a cross against three names, all the same surname, but no further information to indicate whether they died en route or later.

Hi Ian,

I ordered your file yesterday but Archives NZ have replied saying that it hasn't yet been transferred across to their new facility. I need to wait a month or so before requesting it again.
