All three were registered somewhat later, in the September quarter, Rothbury, vol 25, page 225

Well it should be volume 25, but the new GRO index says volume 24. Which is wrong.

Thank you for comparing burials to the registrations, that gives some sort of scope.

I think my next idea is looking at the actual burial register to see what it says for his abode. As far as I can tell those only go up to 1831 on FreeREG and 1837 on DRO  :-\ and the ones on familysearch are only indexes.

Was able to get the full burials for his siblings though, so that’s a bonus

26 May 1832 Jane Witherston, of Harehaugh, age: 1 & 1/2

19 Sep 1837 James Weatherstone, of Harehaugh, age: 19, committed suicide by hanging himself. Verdict of the Jury “Temporary mental derangement”. Died at Newtown.

The different surname spellings don’t help do they. 
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire

My g-gmother had the middle name Weatherson (after this branch of the family) and it was spelled wrong all the time.
