I've said this so often to so many people both online and face to face. The companies ask you all sorts of questions often with dubious possibilities, about whether you really want to cancel. Until you go all the way through and reach a screen that confirms that you have cancelled and received an email confirming that, there is a good chance that you haven't cancelled.

Thank you everyone for your help. After phoning Ancestry I've got a refund, and the email confiming it   :) :)

You're so right Zaph., I think I had a senior moment and lost concentration  ::) :)  I will make sure the auto renew is off if I decide to rejoin inthe future  :)
