Elsie may Gardiner

Hello everyone in Essex ...this could be a long shot but im trying to trace a grave/ headstone or any information for a friend of mine who's looking for a relative of his .
The only details he has is the following
Elsie may Owen born in Holyhead early 1920s  who married a Thomas Gardiner around 1945/6 and ha a daughter called Valerie f Gardiner
Elsie may passed away in 1998 in the frinton on sea  area ..any assistance would be greatly appreciated it

No alternative/ married name giiven .

Thank you everyone for your replies...spoke to my friend and he reckons the marella Francis Gardiner is the one as the name is different but date wise and the reference to walthemstow is  correct as that where she lived ...

He confirmed that she did indeed work in the station hotel in Holyhead...
Now to find if she has a burial plot and headstone he can visit

There's also a chance that she was cremated.

I found nothing in the newspapers about her death and nothing on Findawill.

all that is known about Thomas is that during the ww2 is that he was stationed on Anglesey  possibly you ty croes camp...then move to London area and worked for the gpo ...sorry for the sketchy info
