Help with double-barreled initials
« on: Sunday 11 January 26 15:11 GMT (UK) »
I have a physical item which has been stamped with the initials F.J.M.-L. The object dates from around the 1850s, but the sans-serif style of the lettering suggests it was added much later; perhaps around WWI. I am struggling to identify anyone with these double-barreled initials. I have a subscription to findmypast but I can't figure out how to effectively search for them.
The object was originally from Nottingham, but the owner need not have been. Can anyone help?
