Thornton Arthur Ernest

Good morning from Australia,
I cannot find any information about Arthur Ernest Thornton born 1889 Wolverhampton Staffordshire, Father James and mother Matilda Bowdler On the census for 1891 with his parents James Thornton my ggg grandfather and his wife Matilda. On the 1901 he is with his mother as James had passed away in 1894. On the 1911 census he is with Matilda in Oldham Lancashire,  (This family mis transcribed as Thomson) 1921 census still with his mother Matilda age 32yrs in Oldham. There are other family members also on the censuses. Cannot find any other information after 1921 for Arthur Ernest.
I have put this on Lancashire board and not Staffordshire as most likely that's where he stayed.

There is a death in Dec qtr 1969 giving a birth date of 1st November 1888.  Do you have his actual birth date as his birth was registered 1st quarter 1889 which could include a November 1888 birth date.  The death was North Bucks.

Hi Rosie99, unfortunately there were two Arthur Ernest Thorntons born about the same time I think this one in North Bucks married Annie Wenman, I suspect this one may not be the same as the one from Sts and Oldham. Thank you so much for taking the time to look
