Good Morning and Happy new Year
I'm looking for what happened to a Richard Reed.
Richard was born June quarter 1860 son of Joseph Reed and Mary Burton  gun lock forger of Darlaston.
He married a Sarah Ann Millington 22.12.1878 at Willenhall and their son Joseph was norn on 12th Jan 1879 .After that Richard is never seen again.
His wife and son are with her parents John and Catherine Millington  in 1881 census and she remarries 21.12.1890 to Joseph Taylor at Darlaston st George.
No sign of Richard Reed.

What was his occupation on the marriage cert

Some records show surname as Read or Reed
