Isabella Huntington - b 1888

Can anyone help me overcome a brick wall.

Isabella Huntington was born on 18th May 1888 to Gilfred and Annie Huntington (Parish Register).

In 1901, she is located at Nazareth House in Lancaster (Census), I presume because mum was the local whore and dad couldn't cope having been in court for failing to send kids to school.

In 1910, Isabella had a child called Mary A Huntington and she was to be found in St Ignacious Church in Preston.

In 1911, she is to be found in Kelton Convent in Aigburth with her daughter (census)

In 1921, she could possibly be at Nazareth House in Crosby, this is where Mary is and I have had that confirmed by them in a telephone call.

The trail goes quiet after this for both of them.

In the 1939 Register, there is a Isabelle Huntington with a DOB of the 24th May living with a Charles Huntington, and it is marked Latham and Hollingsworth above it. I think this may be an error and the Charles Huntington is in fact Charles Latham as I am sure I found a marriage between them but cannot be 100%.

Can anyone offer any assistance.

The 1939 register indicates 2 amendments to her record, one in 1943 and the other 1953

Thank you both for your help, so she has probably gone from Huntington to Latham in 1943 and Latham to Hollingworth in 1953?

So it looks like I am looking for Isabella Hollingworth.

It was Henry Lant Hollingworth that she married he was born in 1868 and was previously married to Margaret Thompson in 1890.  He married Isabella at Shirebrook Main Street Zion Methodist Church
