Bride surname

I would like to know your thoughts on the brides surname in the image.  It has been transcribed as Florendy.  There is no one  coming up other than the marriage record with that surname on family search.  I presently don't have access to ancestry.

I have tried all sorts of variations so any suggestions would be welcome.

well, it certainly looks like FLORENDY.
and transcribed that way on Ancestry and FindMyPast. Like you I can see no other occurance. I did  all excited about an 1826 record for a Caroline FLORENBY. But looking at the image I think it is FORMBY, so that was no good.

There are FLUENDY in Warwickshire  e.g
Harriet DOSHER or FLUENDY baptised 31 Aug 1851 Dunchurch. Parents Thomas (tailor) & Mary - no image on FindMyPast
a burial in 1840
Elizabeth DOSKER/DOSHER otherwise  FLUENDY buried Dunchurch 1 Aug 1840.  Image of her name attached


Added - on FreeBMD there are quite a number of FLUENDY

I'm swaying more towards a Spanish sounding name due to my way of saying it.  Something similar to Fuentez.

As stated earlier I'm open to suggestions.

1841 she is not born in County although that doesn't help much.

Lancs OPC gives it as Florendy as does FindMyPast

I've been researching names that sound like Florendy and have come up with the most likely of Flourenty (French origins so far).

The other alternatives are:  Florenty, Corenty, Fleurenty, Flaurenty, Laureney, Laurency, Lorenty, Ferreny and Laurenste. 

There are very few records of this surname particularly in Britain in the 1700's.

Can anyone advise what other details would the church have (if any)?

Is there a definite 'H' somewhere on the full page? I have seen some very flowery Hs and would want to rule that out as a possibility, as in Horendy, Hornedy variations.

It seems it's the curate's "F", see February.

Ellen was illiterate (bride made mark) so maybe it's a different name entirely.
