Susan LARKINS/STANDEN Gamlingay

Susan LARKINS was born in 1814 in Gamlingay and married Charles STANDEN there on 5 November 1836. They then lived in Salehurst, Sussex where their 4 children were born. She returned to Gamlingay with her 2 surviving children, Elias born 1841, Barbara born 1851 both born Robertsbridge, after Charles' death in JAnuary 1853.
In the 1861 census they were living at Church Street, Gamlingay but I can find no trace of any of them thereafter

Although you mention two surviving children, one tree has another

Sarah Ann Standen, daughter of Charles and Susan, baptised in Gamlingay on 1st October 1837.

She married William Endersby on 11th November 1855 and is on the 1881 census at Cottage, Everton, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, with five children.

Living with he son, Charles, in Gamlingay in 1891 and 1901, and died there in 10th February 1904.

Apologies I should have said with her 2 surviving younger children. Their daughter Sarah is the only child that I have been able to identify post-1861

I can't see this person prior to their death, it is not the Elias who married Mary Ann Witham in September qtr 1872  and is living in Kingston / Wimbledon area as he is still alive in 1901

I should have mentioned that one of the lodgers with John & Mary Ann was Minnie Matthews age 12 also bn Childs Hill, probably a relation of Mary Ann

Following rosie99's post Sarah Ann Standing appears to have married William Calver in 1888, names her father as John Standing--occ-labourer. Her abode St Anns Road
