Please has anyone got a list of these men
I have found an image of the board on-line, but by the time I blow it up big enough to read, the words blur horribly.
In particular I am looking for the CRASTONS (various spelling)
Thank you
Michelle

Hello Carole,
John, Edward and Miles are the Christian names.
From 1780 to about 1880.
Although if there were any earlier mentions of the CRASTONS it might help me tie in to earlier generations.
Thank you so much.

John, parish clerk, appointed 1832.

Another Miles is a shoemaker, has an uncle William, who is an overseer. 1845
Long article probably not relevant other than names

William was church warden before this date in 1845

And yet another Miles died 1829

Not getting much in the way of results for Edward (he moved to and died in Preston) no mention in notice he was connected to the church.
There are a lot of general hits for the extended family. You might want to take out a sub so you can view the newspapers yourself. On either FindMyPast or British Newspaper Archive,

Could not resist.
The younger Miles played the organ

A Stephen Craston was a parish clerk at KL before 1854
Westmorland Gazette
02 December 1854
You could email the current church wardens and ask them for the list.
