Thanks for the information, but our Michael was 55 in 1911 Census and in 1959 he would have been 103. Kind Regards David.

And in 1901 he was aged 40. As previously posted you have conflicting details.
Who was the informant on his death? Did he really know the correct age, or was it an approximation?
Once again, I suggest you need to widen your search parameters, special when it has to do with ages.

When I find the death, I will obtain the death certificate as you suggest, but as I mentioned he died in Glenafosha and although he was discovered by my sister in law, who was only around 9, the informant would probably have been his niece, my mother in law and it would be in Claretuam.  Kind Regards David

It may be that the missing records were just not registered. However, with regard to Michael’s death, you would think it would be registered within that more recent timeframe.
As you know, an approximate year because of the child’s age and birth, I am sure you have looked around that time.
Is there a favoured local cemetery you could check?
Do you have any other family burials you could check?
Perhaps a death announcement in the local newspaper?
