Thank you Sandra for all these wonderful obits. With the large families that they had, it will take me a while to record everyone. Strange about the date of death of David William Duncan. Peggy

I figured out that Samuel's daughter, whose home he died at in 1932, was Edna Mary, married to Roland James Elliott. Edna Mary died Jan 11, 1994 in Ontario, Canada.
Alexander James Duncan died Apr 18, 1916 in Toronto, Ontario. Perhaps his obit would mention his half-brother Thomas Duncan. Alexander married Jane Barry Feb 18, 1862 in the Presbyterian Church in Ottawa. Jane died May 21, 1915 in Ottawa.

Short death notice for Jane Duncan passed 1915 and Edna Elliott passed 1994,
Didn't see one for Alexander.

well, I certainly had Laura's dod wrong. Maybe it was her husband's dod in 1953.
I have heard from family that Thomas Duncan Jr. born 1844 married Jane Morris but I can't find any record of that. Mary Ann Duncan born 1859 married John Henry Morris in 1884 and then Mary Ann died Oct 26, 1917 in Manitou, Manitoba, Canada. If there is any connection between the two Morrises, perhaps Mary Ann Morris' obit might mention it. Peggy

Death notice for John Henry Morris (1926) did not mention siblings.
Never saw any death notice for Mary Ann Duncan/Morris (1917)

Looking for a Morris connection of "Jane" to Thomas Duncan (1843)

Checked back on the "Morris" father, also a John Henry Morris who passed in 1896
Obit says he had 7 sons and 4 daughters.  Of the four daughter, only one had the middle name of  (Ellen) Jane but she married a McMaster and died in 1906.

Came across an interesting article about Robert Duncan. (not sure if we mentioned it previous)  Apparently the father Thomas Duncan had a brother James.  I think this is the James Duncan who passed in 1889 and buried Beechwood Cemetery.  James was married to Mary Ann McMullen who passed 1902

Thanks very much for obits, Sandra. The article about Robert Duncan was not mentioned previously but by family history Thomas did have a brother James who also came to Canada so I would bet that you have found him and his wife. Great, good going. Peggy
