Stay away from those.

Zaph

Thanks Wexflyer.  Is there a reliable website for searching arms of a particular family?  I think I've only found ones trying to flog random coats of arms to people who are desperate to have descended from the aristocracy.

For information-

The Office of the Chief Herald, formerly the Genealogical Office (GO), has been a part of the National Library of Ireland since 1943.

I know little of heraldry etc. but found this volume on line which covers 1849 - Granting of Arms and Confirmations Vol E; 1803-1853. The Ulster King at Arms at the time was Sir William Betham and these bear his name/signature.
They strike me as drafts of the real thing (which are much more splendid).

The year 1849 begins around page 381.

The copy should be there in the relevant volume (vol E?).
The Name index at the front should be sufficient to get you to the appropriate page. Find page not image!
