View the 1881 Scotland Census?
« on: Sunday 14 December 25 16:09 GMT (UK) »
I have found, on Ancestry, the transcription of a relatives entry in the 1881 Scotland Census.

Is there any way I can actually view the census return, like I can for Ireland on https://census.nationalarchives.ie/

Details given are:

ED   3
Household schedule number 56
Line   21
Roll   cssct1881_206

Thanks.

You will have to purchase some credits on Scotland’s People in order to view the original.

Leon - it's worth purchasing units - you can see birth, marriage and death records on it for Scotland just by spending a few units -- also baptisms, marriages and burials pre-civil registration.

The Scotland census records are on there also as well as other interesting material.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.
