Reviving/Restarting Old Topic

I had posted a topic (I think it was last year) about doing Look Ups for people in the USA.  The topic is still there though now it is locked.

I got away from genealogy for a few months but I am back now and really getting into again so I thought I would pick up again on taking requests.  Can I start a new topic or is there a way to revive my old topic and revise it?

Hi Megan

If you have already posted a lookup offer and it is still there then it is fine as it is.  The usual procedure is that lookup offers are all locked and then you take a look at the lookup requests for that particular area and see if there is anything that you can help with.  That way it prevents lookup offers becoming long and often confusing posts with lots of different queries from different people all mingled in amongst each other.

Is there a way I can edit what I wrote in my post or should I worry about that at all?  I'm just worried that people see how old it is now and wonder if I am still doing it or not.

Each of your posts should have a modfy button on the right hand side!  If this one doesn't, let us know which post it is and we can unlock it for you whilst you modify it.

Thanks again.  I tried the modify button but it just tells me that the topic is locked.

The topic is under Emigrants to the US/US Lookup Offers the topic name is LOOKUP OFFER for US Census Records.
