Hello ,Searching for the death of Helen Mather in 1940 in Edgbaston Birmingham,I think she died in an air raid but cannot find the link to the newspaper reports anymore and the computer has crashed with the records on it,Should of backed up the records on another program!

She doesn't appear in the WW2 Civilian Deaths on ancestry.

Burial at St Peter, Harborne, 20 September 1940 aged 52. 97 Sandon Road, Edgbaston.

Thanks for all the replies ,I could of sworn I read on a newspaper that she was a casualty of the bombing in ww2,however she is not in the ancestry lists-and I am only going on memory about reading the newspaper,

Although there are a number of Helens on the site there is no Helen Mather.
