DANIEL STOREY died on 17 May 1919 after serving with the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Remarkably, his age is given as 16! He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Storey of Cape Castle, Co Antrim and he died at that address. In 1911 he was living there with his parents and older siblings Nathaniel and Maggie. Another brother, John, born in July 1888 did not appear in the 1911 Census .
The family were Presbyterian.
An Elizabeth Storey who was probably Daniel's mother died at Cape Castle on 28 Dec 1912.
The family lived in the vicinity of Ramoan Presbyterian Church but unfortunately that are no burial records known.
Daniel Storey is entitled to War Grave commemoration if proof of burial can be found.
Does anyone know where this young soldier is buried?
