Not sure if this question has ever arisen before...if it has, I apologise!

What happened with regard to registration of men already enlisted in the Armed Forces when the 1939 Register was set in motion?  Was there a general list compiled from all Services?

"Registration of members of the armed forces was dealt with by the military authorities, so the 1939 Register does not include service personnel in military, naval and air force establishments."

I don't think it was necessary to list these men (as it was Civilians) as they were already on the radar

Thank you for that, I supposed it was the case.  The question arose because I DID find one member of the family on it, even though I knew he was in the Army already, having enlisted about 1834.  I suppose that was because he was on leave at the time.  Again, my thanks.
