Elizabeth Ann Grady
« on: Tuesday 09 December 25 15:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Iam following the children of Thomas Grady (born in Sunderland on the 23rd March 1862), and his wife, Rose Ann Hanratty (born in Scotland on the 9th June 1862) - they married in Sunderland on the 25th November 1883.

The couple had eleven children (all of whom I have found and accounted for), of which five died.

The only child I cannot trace into adulthood is their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Grady, born in Sunderland on the 5th March 1899.

She was with her parents in 23 Percival Street, Sunderland in 1901, and with them in 26 North John Street, Dawdon, in 1911.

Her mother died in 40 Church Street, Seaham Harbour on the 5th October 1918.

She is not with her father, Thomas, at the time of the 1921 census, and Thomas died on the 5th August 1935 in 63 Viceroy Street, Seaham Harbour, the property of his widowed daughter, Rose Graham.

Whilst some of Thomas and Rose Ann's children stayed in the North East, several moved away, but are still traceable - but nothing for Elizabeth Ann.

Can anyone find out what happened to her?

Thanks Sue

GRO confirms Noreen's mother was Grady as posted and there are other births, which you might want to consider, in the years after 1920.

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.
