Robert Clark died Liverpool.
« on: Sunday 07 December 25 19:00 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to discover the date of Robert Clarks death in Liverpool between (a big gap)1871-1886.

Robert Clark born Scotland 1849   died Liverpool?

Father Robert Clark born Scotland 1812
Mother Ann (Philip) Clark born Scotland 1820

I am also trying to discover the names of the children of Robert Jr. (Sorry I have no marriage details.) Knowing he had at least 2 sons who were taken into the Seamans Orphanage in Liverpool after his premature death.

Any help gratefully recieved.

There is a Robert Clark aged 12 in the Seamen's Orphan Institution ( Orphan Drive, Newsham Park) in the 1891 census, aged 12, born Bootle.

Robert Clark aged 32 in 1881 would give a birthdate 1849 which would fit.

Robert Clark aged 12 in the orphanage in 1891 would mean he would be 2 in the 1881 census which would also fit.

The other son would be John. Is there no record of him at the orphanage?
