Hello
I would be grateful for any help in trying to unravel the accuracies/inaccuracies of an affiliation case from 12 Aug 1904. What I am trying to establish is detailed below. (I attach 2 newspaper extracts on the case).
Is the William Rice Williams referred to actually Woodford Rice Williams 1880 of Danybank Farm, Pontyates (whose father was also called Woofford Rice Williams)?
Who exactly was Ada Jones and can she be found in census records?
Who was the child and can he/she be found in census records.
The first article is the longest and therefore I regard as the more accurate of the 2. It mentions William Rice Williams of Danybank farm Pontyates, young farmer and son of a well to do Farmer and landowner. I believe this is actually Woodford Rice Williams, as mentioned above, who in 1909 marries an Evelyn John.
This article gives little information on Ada, other than that she was a young girl
The second article states Ada was of Andrew Steet, Llanelly. It also refers to Rice Williams as William not Woodford. It also mentions Danybrook, Pontyates, which again I think is an inaccuracy and should say Danybank.
Thank you
