I saw Jessy as the 3rd on the list. There are 2 of that name around at the time - one 71 tons, t'other 170 tons. Need to check Lloyds' Register further.

As pointed out, "Bramley, Marshall" popping up in the newspaper shipping reports. But yet to find the Bramley in Lloyds' Register.

Found reference to Henry Marshall, Hermione, in Lloyds

Thanks for this. Are you able to send a link to the Lloyds page?

Found 2 x"Bramley" in '38(147 tons and 75 tons) + a newspaper report "Bramley, Marshall" in '38.

Found a reord on FindMyPast for Henry Marshall, born 1814 Shields - one of the ships looks like the Jenny, 1835 voyage. 1835 Lloyds has a Jenny, 82 tons (my earlier effort at Jessy?). His other ships as Captain, 1835-1837, look like Cumberland, Alpha, Salus, Thames (these records often hard to read)

That's interesting, I have found it on FindMyPast. Do you know what the numbers mean? (e.g. for Cumberland it has "Feb '38 75/171")

Thanks for the link to the research guide also!  :)
