I agree - except that St Martins isn't in Angus/Forfarshire :)
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

You are quite right, but there is a small detached part of Forfarshire just to the east of it.

Ah! Then that census ought to pinpoint the person's birthplace quite closely.

Hi All

Forfarian I have his birth place from death record
GR2 at one point St Martin was part of Forfar as was Coupar Angus before being moved to Perthshire.
Coupar Angus original name was "Coupar in Angus"
I didn't believe it originaly either.

Hi All
I forgot to add the changes were as a result of boundary changes in 1891 and the records for St.Martins and Cargill that I was looking at are fairly sparse.
