There is a marriage for Mark Town, bachelor, to Sarah ?? (transcribed as Leska but I'm not convinced that is what it says) 9 Sept 1849 at St Mary Newmarket.  His occupation is painter and his father is given as Robert Town, Smith.

In 1851 they are living in Newmarket with one child: Julia Alice, age 6 months

Mark's place of birth is given as Maidstone.

Is this the same Mark Town ??

I think Sarah's surname could be Le Pla or Lepla. There are a few tailors with this surname in Newmarket.

Julia Alice - birth registration shows mmn as Lepla - GRO website.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There'a Mark Town, age 19, father blacksmith in Downe Kent in '41. There's also a registered death and parish burial (age 19) of a Mark Town, Downe.

Eliza's father was my GGGF who died in 1840

Presumably then Eliza was a sibling of your GGF or GGM
