Thank you - yes I have that.  Amazing number of interpretations of the surname . It’s Alice I’m stumped with from that family group.  Children of William & Kezia.  I have bpt for loads of them Seal registers are pretty good.

Alice Homden death in 1949 is recorded on FreeBMD as. Age 59 so born c 1890 registered in SepQ Holborn.

Could Alice been registered as Sarah?

I found this birth,

Sarah Ann HOMDEN    Jun Q 1869    Malling    2a  473
mmn:  GREEN     

Malling is the correct Registration district for Wrothem.

I can't find Sarah anywhere after this, possibly someone registered her with the incorrect name or her parents changed their minds before her baptism.

Found while looking for Alice but am totally perplexed with this one

Following on from daisypetal’s post I found a Sarah Ann Homden marrying Arthur William Underhill in 1897 MarQ Sevenoaks.   

Sarah Ann Underhill then appears on 1901CR age 32 born Wrotham a widow working as a servant in Maidstone.  Haven’t yet found death of Mr Underhill but I found a marriage in SepQ 1901 Maidstone of a Sarah Ann Underhill to a Frederick Barker.
