Hi,

I have a census record I found on Ancestry, unfortunately the page in their photograph is folded and the some of the ages are obscured. I wondered if they may be easier to see on another subscription site at all?

I would suggest getting their ages / birth dates by looking at other census records, and / or looking at their birth registration on the GRO.

I looked at Trees and they have Marks Parents as THOMAS/MARY Dale, Mary nee Walker.

Not sure if you know but there is more info on the Marriage Record of Thomas/Mary 1809 in Staffs than on Ancestry transcript.
Thomas was a Widower* and a Ann Dale was a witness.

His 1st wife may have been a Judith.

Burials Astbury
SAMUEL 4 March 1810, parents Thomas/Judith no age given
JUDITH 8 December 1814, age 10 birth c 1804 same parents
Image of Judiths is on F/S.Org, occp for Thomas is correct

So if I have this right bapts Astbury;
THOMAS 22 May 1796
JUDITH 21 Nov 1803 buried 1814
WILLIAM 25 May 1806 poss buried 10 Nov 1811, no age given

THOMAS/MARY bapt a Son SAMUEL 17 June 1810
Could he be named after the Samuel buried 4 March 1810

A THOMAS Dale married 10 August 1795 Brereton-cum-Smethwick, Cheshire to Judith HAMPTON

Just a possibility

Although I cant find a burial for Judith Dale.

A JUDITH Hampton was bapt Brereton 1 May 1774 to SAMUEL/LYDIA

Thomas/Mary bapt  a LYDIA and SAMUEL

Wow, lots to digest here.

Thank you all. I did have the other earlier census from the family and some birth certificates but wondered if other sites had the ages from that census so I could corroborate everything with more evidence (I can be a bit of a stickler).

I didn't have all the info for some of the other children's birth or the baptism and burials.
