Not sure where to put this one.
I am trying to get hold of the Salvation Army Tune Book Volume 1 published 2015. It is already out of print and no sign of being reprinted. SA seem to be providing the tunes separately- at a cost.
I wonder if anyone has a spare copy which I might purchase- all costs defrayed.
I have volume 2 published at the same time and when I ordered them both they sent 2 copies of volume 2!
Help please!!!!!!
rj

Would purchasing via USA be a possibility for you:

https://shop.salvationarmy.org/The-Salvation-Army-Tune-Book

they indicate 7 copies available for Volume 1 2015, at $40 before postage costs.

I'd been thinking you might do well contacting your nearest branch of Salvation Army, radstockjeff. It'll be easily found online.
Re KGarrad - I'd been wondering, too, if all is well with him. Hope it is.

Thanks TY. Our local Citadel closed last year. Perhaps I might be able to locate a former member. rj

Christmas cards, I generally buy them after Christmas  from the charity shop, on checking my address book I have crossed out so many over the years, down to about 40 I think, next week there is a family get together whereby we usually exchange cards,  I just hope between now and Tuesday I have time to write the cards,  my priority  at the moment is ticketing  my bazaar items, oh yes, how many chocolates in the jar?, counted and ready to seal, I just had to eat one, testing of course.

Very heavy frost on the car this morning, very cold  when I walked back from the shops.

Hope you succeed Jeff .
Not even made my cake, ,pudding or mincemeat yet.
Son at Head Office until next Thursday probably ,so a good time to get in with cake, pudding or mincemeat, although I am thinking a very nice trifle or Boodle’s orange  fool would be refreshingly light after the big roast dinner instead of Christmas pudding.
Hope you succeed Jeff.a long shot but I wonder if The S.A. In Mitchell St. Ancoats ,Manchester, The Star Hall , would have a copy ,my niece and nephew played in the band.
Google it .
My husband’s Birthday today, would have been 94, got some flowers next to his photograph taken at our Golden Wedding .
We nearly got to our Diamond - 2016:

Cool, and the sun has gone in.
Son’s mattress protector and pillow protector in washer ,on low temperature, ,then sheets and mattress cover ,pillow slips ,sheets, duvet cover in .
Thank goodness for washing machines!

Got tickets for our church Band Concert next Sunday , as usual it is Whitworth Vale and Healey Band.
Eldest son too so a lift as son who is here is at  Office but would take me otherwise.

Hope those unwell are feeling better , so many “thankyous”   to you all for your kind messages..They do buck me up.

Well I get my power now from Utilities Warehouse ,grand daughter in law works for them .
In the package there was a deal with SIM card, I pay that but it is for Flash Harry and Kyra , so grandson puts the cost of the card in to a little account .

It makes £156 a year so divided by two = £78 each ,ample for a B/ day and Christmas present each,no postage for me to pay and some holiday spends for them.
They are in to banking and like to save ,well F,H does  - Kyra is a bit young as yet .
Must do the same for Lily - and - who will have a baby brother next year,!
Charlie!

Well you are delaying me—— again!
Seriously , good to read your news and daily lives.
Cheerio folks.

Viktoria.

When my daughter was young we taught her to spend half and save half of any monies she was given,  there was a post office account  for  children  in those days, it had a spider motif, why spiders? , I hate them, anyway, think his name was Mervin, it took me a long time to convince her that the post master was making  her money grow,  she thanked me only recently because it grew and when she left home she had a tidy sum,  but she didn't mention it till recently,  think I was a wicked mother at the time.

Viktoria,  I really don't know how you pack so much into a day, I am not  lazy but goodness me you do so much.

Chilly but a lovely crisp day.

Once you are on a fund raising  committee you never get off,  I have been involved since 1966 and only one way off but I  am not ready for that.

There's always a lot of talk about rising prices, some of which I'm more aware of than others. For instance, I have no idea how much petrol is as regardless of the price I have to buy it anyway (although I've been told recently that the price has actually gone down!).

I have my groceries delivered because I hate supermarket shopping and find home delivery so much more convenient, but seeing the total price of my order when checking it out has really brought it home to me how much grocery prices have increased. I have a delivery about once every ten days, there's only me to feed but I'm finding the total bill quite shocking.

I hate the tricks that supermarkets play to try and fool us, shrinkflation has been with us for a while but they're also employing what I consider to be underhand methods of increasing prices. For example, they withdraw an own brand product from sale and after I've spent a few weeks trying to find a suitable replacement they bring it back in different packaging but with a smaller quantity or a higher price. Or both.

I don't usually dwell on things like this, I just try to fight them at their own battle but I've become very aware of it recently.

It doesn't look like the chancellor is doing anything to encourage cash savings accounts by changing the ISA limit for under 65s. I think she's deluding herself that it'll encourage people to use their money for investments, I think it takes a certain sort of person to do that. I might be proved wrong, it has been known on the odd occasion!  ;D
