Place of origin Anna Cornelia Gerber.

On the marriage cert for Anna and Jacob Hinrich Stademann his place of origin was Heydorf.
There is no such place! I found his birth cert in the church buchs from Heiddorf
The scribe obviously wrote down what he „thought“ he had heard

Anna´s place of origin was Kaalstädt. This place is also non existent
So i assumed it must be a place with a similiar name in the area.
There is no place called Karlstädt!
The nearest i could find was Karstädt.

I found the church books for Karstädt and searched for Anna´s birth, to no avail.
I searched over a period of 6 years, no hits. There were also no entries at all of the family name Gerber. I found it strange that no Gerber´s were listed

Back to the drawing board!!
I think Anna was from Kahlstädt (same pronunciation as Kaalstädt) in Posen

They are all in the 19th century but it does prove that there were numerous families in Posen

though I am concerned with my lack of undertanding all the place names.

Do I define them as in  Germany, Prussia, Poland, Danish?

for instance I have recorded Wandsbek, Schleswig-Holstein, Deutschland...
