Typo error 1842 is Right
Luise was an illegitimate Child

thanks for pointing that out, I just realised as I checked the marriage of her parents in the March.

In light of the above, it begins to look like Louisa came to South Australia.

I have seen information about her in records but was not persuaded enough to support it as the right woman.

As Louisa GRABOWSKY She applied for naturlisation in 1903 with a birth stated 1842 andplace Wandsbek Holsten .

she arrived aged 18 with Gottfried WEISE on the "Caesar Helene" in 1859 and married Carl GRABOWSKY at Talunga in 1861

Are there any possible records as to Luisa's father?

The certificate record wording is a bit ambiguous.
I'm sure it is intended to state Catharina was the shoemaker's daughter??

My understanding of the birth record for Luisa is that "factory worker Peter Elias Friedrich Wiese admitted" to being the father.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

Thanks Neale,
On consideration, I agree, that is what it reads.
