Thank you - so all 3 were sons of James Mulvey.

Not so easy in Ireland without CRs to help!

Hi Keziah2

To avoid confusion, Bray is in Wicklow but its Northern part in is Dublin, as can be seen on census and also at -  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bray,_County_Wicklow

As far as I know Bray Commons was at the northern end of the town, so this may explain the Dublin births.

Regards

Thanks - not at all familiar with that part of the world so useful info.

I think the family may have links with Westmeath in previous generations ?  I now have more info than I thought I might have

Thanks for that.

I’ve found 7 children of James & Julia between 1870 & 1882.

Also found something that suggest James’ father was also a James & he married an Anna Geoghegan? In Westmeath.  But nothing obvious at the moment to confirm that.

Parish record of James and Julia‘s marriage confirms this. James and Anne are living in Westmeath I think.
