Occupants of one household 1902
« on: Yesterday at 15:16 »
Please can anyone help me find who was living at 15 Cambridge Street, Pimlico SW1 in 1902?
I'm pretty sure it will be tenants rather than the owner.

I can't use 1901 Census because don't know any names!

(I think FindMyPast might use searches by address but I haven't got a sub at present.  ??? )

They were mostly French in 1901. Here's a link to the Ancestry page: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/7814/images/LNDRG13_86_88-0241

That's the one in Paddington, not the one in Pimlico

1910 Valuation (February 1912), a little later, but…:

Occupier: tenements
Owner: Duke of Westminster
someone called Cubitt a leaseholder I think this is a reference to Thomas Cubitt, architect

Description:
Basement 2 rooms
Landing WC
Ground, First and Second Floors all 2 rooms
Top Floor 1 room

no 15 was at the west end of the street, on the north side, next door to the Greyhound pub (also owned by the Duke of Westminster) which was on the corner of Cambridge Street and Hugh Street.

Added: looks to be still there, but the Greyhound is now the Purgatory Bar (was still The Greyhound in 2018).
Boyd, Dove, Blakey, Burdon
