By 1st marriage to Jane Stewart who died in Cnethan 50 yers ago. Daughter Jane born Cnethan 50 yrs ago, wife of James Gordon, miner in America; does not assist.
By 2nd marriage to Marion Hamilton. Son John born Maryhill 48 yrs ago. John is a fireman, married with 5 kids and resides at Craigneuk pays pauper 1/ weekly.
By 3rd marriage to Christina McFarlane. Son James born Edinburgh 32 yrs. Married with 2 children, iron moulder, resides unknown, wife in Denny. Daughter Janet born Carnbroe 30 yrs, wife of Jas Sutherland, painter, 3 children, resides Fulton Bridge Edinburgh. Daughter Mary born Arlinton nr Newmains 29 ys, wife of Alex Wilkie miner, 7 children residing Dyke Head near Baillieston. Daughter Elizabeth born Schotts, 27 yrs, wife of Alex McBride, miner, Cambuslang, 4 children. Son George born Morningside Cnethan, 21 yrs, single, miner residence unknown, said to have enlisted.
Wife Christina McFarlane born County Antrim Ireland, died 20 yrs ago, aged 38 yrs. Daughter of James McFarlane labourer and Elizabeth Brown, both dead.
