Hello again,
Can anyone decipher the parish in which Mary Shaw's parents Christina MacFarlane and James Shaw were married?

Last line has “Dundonald” and then  (I think) “Parish of Cambus”?

Marriage date was 1850, so there will not be a certificate as it was before civil registration. Possibly only a parish record of banns.

Have you seen the poor law applications for this couple? Lots of useful family background on them.

It might be shorthand for Cambusnethan which is where they were living in 1861.  The eldest son John was born c1846 in Glasgow, and in 1851 there is a John Shaw McFARLANE living with his mother Christina in Old Monkland.  James and Christina may not have been married?

Scrap that.  Reading the poor law applications, John SHAW was born c1847 in Maryhill to James and his second wife Marion HAMILTON.
