Thanks everyone.

Found the death of a Catherine MAGUIRE of Kilronan in 1894 a widow aged 90. Son James was the informant.

According to Hugh MAGUIRE's obit in 1896 he was only living representative.

James MAGUIRE of Kilronan died in 1898, son John Wm the informant.

Have we got the right family??

I'm more doubtful but wouldn't rule it out yet. This family doesn't fit with Hugh's father being a 'gentleman' but then Hugh was a shopman when he married so difficult to know.
