It seems it was a very sad period for Agnes Coxon when married in 1916 to Michael Anthony Coxon
Looking through all those very interesting records ,as far as I can see Agnes never saw her husband again after he left England in 1917.
Reply 31,Item 45,in 1917 he applied for and was granted a free passage to Australia for Agnes but it seems this never happened.
Then in 1920 Agnes's letter to the mining co pleading for help for his return to England.
He died in 1925 in Melbourne.
I think all of this is correct ??
Michael also says he has been a resident in Australia for 25 years which means he arrived there around 1893 (he was born in London in 1883).
I cannot find any England census record for him,or any voyage record.
Again any help greatly appreciated.
