Bell Family Middlesbrough
« on: Monday 17 November 25 10:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have been researching my Great Grandmother and her Siblings, I have found that her Brother Robert died in WW1 and her Sister Annie who was living with her died in 1933.

I am struggling with all her other siblings however, details I have are

Ada Bell B Middlesbrough 1872 (my great Grandmother) Married my Great Grandad John William Hayes in 1894 in Middlesbrough. He died at sea in 1916
Robert William Bell B Middlesbrough 1880 D 1917 in France
Annie Bell B 1877 Middlesbrough D 1933

Ones I am struggling with

Henry Bell B 1875 Middlesbrough Married Ann Richardson longhorn cant find a record for him after 1901

Older siblings

William Bell B 1860 Pickhill
Hannah Bell B 1864 Pickhill
Elizabeth Bell B 1867 York?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Andy

Carole, I think these might be the children of Robert Bell and Esther Longhorn rather than Henry Bell and Ann Longhorn.

Winifred Elizabeth died in 1900 and the burial record gives her father's name as Robert.

Ann Richardson Bell born 4q 1899, mmn Longhorne.
The other daughter was Mary, can't find a birth registration for her yet.

Got it, Mary Elizabeth Bell, born 3q 1898, Middlesbrough 9D, 599, mmn Longhorne.

Ages given on the 1901 census are misleading.

Not that it help with post 1901 - can't find them yet.
