Parents names "Shaw"

Can anyone please help with the name of Mary Shaw's parents ?

If I'm looking at the right place:  James Shaw and Christina Turner

The last line in the box could be:  M.S. M^cFarlane (deceased)

M.S. usually means Maiden Surname.

That is what I thought also - Christina Turner formerly Shaw, like the person writing it down made a mistake and put her names in reverse order. I think the mark that looks like a "d" could be a blot on the image, but not sure.

Yes it could be a flourish on the w, looking at Glasgow on the record it has the same twirl.
