Well done jonwarrn, of all the looking I did I didn’t look at 1939 register, took it for granted, lessons learnt as the politicians say

Just looked at 1939 image and it looks very much like MARG M, however it doesn't matter you solved it.

The marriage certificate I have is for Harry and Margaret and Walter is just named as her father with no information about him being a Widow.
