Cathy that does look like the William Eastwood I am interested in. With the information you have provided I will put a post on the WW2 message board. Maybe someone can provide some extra information about his service.

his father was a confectioner, this is what Wilfred is on his fathers probate record

it would be interesting to know if Wilfred states he was single when he married Mena , he says hes single in 1939, perhaps he divorced prior to 39, the two deaths of Berthas in Oldham are not his wife,
