Dear All

I trying to find the whereabouts for marion Gourlay Murdoch and Kore Magnus Ernie Hanson.  And also  I am looking for their deaths and places of death.  Marion Gourlay Murdoch was born on the 30 October 1927 in Aryshire and married Kore in the registry office in ayrshire on the 16 of august 1952.  All that I know about Kore is that he was born about 1914 in Norway, I don't know anything else about Kore.
Any information would be helpful

The marriage index at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk lists the marriage of Marion Gourlay Murdoch to Kore Magnus E Hansen in 1952 in Dalmellington, Ayrshire.

The marriage certificate will tell you the names of Kåre Hansen's parents, his age, occupation and residence. This may help you to find records in Norway.

To see the certificate you have various options
- As this is less than 75 years ago, you cannot view it online, but you can order a copy from Scotland's People
- Go in person to a Scotland's People centre, where you will be able to view the certificate
- Appeal for someone who is going to a SP centre to look it up and transcribe the details
- Wait until 2027, when 1952 marriage certificates will become available online at SP

Marion Gourlay Murdoch or Hansen, aged 40, died in Glasgow in 1970. As this is over 50 years ago, you can view this certificate online for £1.50 on the SP web site.

Kore Magnus Ernie Hansen's parents were Kristian Johan Hansen and O R Krestiansen? Kore at the time of his wife's death, his occupation was as a first officer in the Nowegian merchant navy.

He was born on 24 Nov 1913 in Evenes Parish.
Parents Kristian Johan Hansen and Oleanna Regine Mathilda Kristiansdatter.

Thank you so much that was a lovely surprise to see that someone had found information about the Hansen family.  I would never have found this information by myself.  I just need to find the death for Kore (Kaare).
