In the Name of God Amen.
I, Thomas Goodings of Tydd Saint Marys {possibly Tydd Saint Marys} in the County of
Lincoln Gentleman being of a sound and disposing Mind
Memory and Understanding do make and ordain this to be my
my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say
First I give and devise unto my Dear Son William Goodings
all that Freehold Messuage or Tenement and two Roods of
Freehold Land be the same more or less {possibly be the same more or less}) the two same adjoining
situate and lying in Tydd Saint Marys {possibly Tydd Saint Marys} aforesaid
West the Common Bank East and now in my own
Occupation and late the Estate of Charles Stribo and I give
or devise unto him {possibly unto him} and also all that one acre of Freehold Land {possibly of Freehold Land}
Freehold Land be the same more or less {possibly be the same more or less}) lying in Tydd Saint
Marys aforesaid next the Common East and my own Lands
West now also in my own Occupation and which I purchased {possibly which I purchased}
purchased of the Reverend Christopher Drunnings Clerk
and also all that other Freehold Messuage Tenement and
all those seven Acres be the same more or less {possibly be the same more or less} of Freehold
Land and pasture Ground situate and lying in Tydd Saint
Marys aforesaid whereof the said Messuage {possibly the said Messuage} and six Acres
part thereof are situate and being in a certain field
there called Ross fields next Lands of the Feoffees of Tydd
Saint Marys aforesaid in part and Lands of Edward Pell in
part North Shire Drain Bank East and Low Gate road
and one acre residue of the said seven acres is lying in a
a certain field there called Briddlo field next Lands to
belonging to the Master and fellows of Trinity College in
the University of Cambridge North the old Sea Bank East
