Ancestry Home Page - Potential Ancestors

Not the 'Common Ancestors' bar but below that headed 'Potential Ancestors'.

Just thought I would see what they were suggesting but I get nothing when I click on the image - just taken to the profile of the actual person in my tree.

Anyone any idea how one gets to see the potential ancestor they are offering?

If you go to the home person and go to hints the potential ancestor is shown in green on my ancestry

Thanks.  Tried that = I am the home person but there are absolutely no hints against me in my Ancestry tree.

I just don't know where to find them.

It does the same thing for me but then to the right of my tree there's a large box showing a "Potential Mother" for an ancestor in my tree. It also says what tree the hint is taken from and has boxes for me to tick to indicate whether or not that's the right potential mother.

I can't find that either Josephine but is the suggestion that it is a hint from another member tree rather than a record hint.

I have turned off member tree hints so maybe that's the reason but if so it is v. annoying that I have that hint banner on the Home page.

Yes, it's from another tree. Hopefully my attachment will work and you'll be able to see what it generates.

The banner on my page is lower down and not large, so I hadn't even noticed it before seeing this thread.

You're right: I haven't used it. 

I keep most of my research on my computer. I decided to put this one tree up on Ancestry because it's based on DNA results and I wanted to see where other descendants would show up in ThruLines vs. where I thought they might belong. I was also hoping some descendants might see it and contact me out of curiosity, but no luck so far on that front. I'll take it down eventually.
