Margaret Wright and Edward Dundas
« on: Sunday 02 November 25 17:06 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for info. on Margaret Wright, Birth 15th May 1826. According to other trees it was in the Kilmore West Ematris area? She married William Edward Beattie, I'm guessing around 1841 as her first child Mary Jane Beattie was born 19 Oct 1843. She went on to have a son William Beattie, Birth 6th Oct 1846, Ashfield Cavan. Husband William Edward Beattie died, possibly 1850 as they all moved to Canada where she married John Dundas in 1853.
I was wondering if there were any records of her Birth or of the first two children, also her marriage to Edward Beattie. I think some of the dates that I have may be approximate as they came from Canada records. Many thanks

Civil registration of births started in Ireland in 1864.

So, before that date, church records of baptisms (if they still exist) will need to be found.

Not all records survive and of those that do still exist, not all are online.
