Looks to be the same article about the death of son Charles Albert but software has muddles several articles together. If I search for charles + grafton for that issue of The Pilot here's what comes up-

I know that Robert's father, William Henry, died at his residence in Fairview but I don't know the exact address. He mentioned this residence in his will, but I don't understand what is written, Four .... Ballybough Bridge, and in the codicil, Fairview North Strand?

I ask because in Thom's directory 1883 there is a Mr. Robert Mitchell at 1 Alphonsus (Saint) Terrace, Fairview and his next door neighbour is Charles Urquhart, cook and caterer, and both again in 1884 at Friery's Terrace, St. Patrick Road east side, Fairview.

I don't have access to Ancestry and FindMyPast, so you probably have ruled them out.  ::)

Irish Times. 4 Jan.1934: Letters to the Editor ... if they can beat the record this firm holds. In the year 1805 it was actually in existence at 10 Grafton street, and the then owner (George Patrick Mitchell) was a great grandfather of the writer, so for almost 130 years it has been handed down ...

The year of 1805 is also on their website, but if William Henry is in Grafton St then he would have only been about 18. George Patrick also couldn't have been the owner then either as he wasn't born until about 1815-16, died 2 Feb 1847 aged 31. George didn't own the business until his father died, it being left to him in William Henry's will.

Clontarf Road appears to run around the edge of the harbour. At the west end there is a Fairview Park, Fairview Avenue etc. Wonder if the property was around that area.
