Hi,

Thanks for all of your information. I already have the birth certificate of her, but I'll buy both of those death certificates and see what I find.

Thank you,

I would hang fire, because there should be cemetery records for them (as per Durham Records Online)

Hi,

Thanks so much for this information. The 1905 one does look interesting. I know Eleanor Rodenby/Watson resided at Percy Street until her death in 1938, and I know at one point Frederick left her. Maybe he left her and took the child with him and went to Bishopwearmouth? I don't know. According to family Frederick "left for America", but I've learnt to take everything what older relatives said with a pinch of salt!

Thanks so much for the information on John Blenkinsopps' burial. I know he was buried in a pauper's/unmarked grave with 3 other people; probably due to lack of money and the circumstances they lived in. I'll look into that Eleanor Watson further.

However, there was an Eleanor Watson born in 1903 in Sunderland which could be a possibility for the above burial; but I think that that burial might be my Eleanor.

Thank you,

JackB
