Kathleen - Who is she?

I am trying to discover who this lady is. The only clue is the name "Kathleen", which is written on the front of this old family photograph.

She is likely to be from the South Yorkshire areas of Rotherham, Sheffield or Doncaster. Other than that, I know nothing about her. Thank you.

It is a lovely photo, I have just noticed that there is a signature on her blouse. I thought she had a celebrity look, maybe a local singer or Actress as Jim has said, but then they would most likely have signed their full name.

I didn't see the one on her blouse! Only the one to the left. I was hoping that it was going to be a family member, but I very much doubt it now. Thanks for your input.

Judging by the hairstyle, it looks to be a 1940s image. maybe a singer in the local pub or club.They often gave out signed photos, she may just have been billed as "Kathleen"

Could she not be your grandmothers cousin Katheen Shelton, born in 1904, as mentioned in your Facebook post about the same photo?

The name written on the blouse is, I am sure, Kathleen!  And possibly the same handwriting.
