Henry Mason, Plumstead 1830's
« on: Friday 31 October 25 02:18 GMT (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I am looking for information on Henry Mason from Plumstead, Kent in the 1830's.

My 3x Great Grandfather Robert Mason was a carpenter from Great Yarmouth and came to work for Henry Mason in the 1830's as Journey Man Carpenter.

Robert was illegitimate and beside his mother Sarah, Wife and 2 sons i am unable to find any other family in England. He was later sent to Van Diemans Land as a convict in 1832.

Im trying to establish if Henry Mason was a relative or was it just coincidence they shared the same surname.

I have no other info regarding Henry that may help.

Many thanks

Thats interesting, thank you.

I have researched into this family now for a few days, not sure if and how they are connected to my grandfather though. So that still remains a mystery.
