« on: Thursday 30 October 25 13:43 GMT (UK) »
Please could someone also help with the very first word in this 1666 Inventory - the word above the deleted 'Arreares' ?

My transcription is:

XXXXXXX
Arreares for rent due to the deceased for
land in Com Leir [i.e. the County of Leicester]

Thanks again for all comments/suggestions.

A minor point: the last word is Leic(ester) not Leir.

It might be Received but also could be Resorved.  It's hard to be sure without more of this hand to compare.

Note that the word is Leic as written, with a brevigraph to indicate it ends with _er. *

PS:  * As JenB says...
